ASEDA - The Atlanta Swing Era Dance Association
ATLX is produced by the Atlanta Swing Era Dance Association (ASEDA).
ASEDA is a non-profit dance club that produces regular dances and two major annual events including ATLX,
and in the fall, Atlanta Varsity Showdown (AVS). ASEDA engages people
through its online forum, which
provides to all dancers a network to post and read information on local and national events.
Many of our core volunteers are also ASEDA leaders or members, and some lead or belong to other
swing clubs and organizations around Atlanta.
We are all passionate about making ATLX a fun time for locals and out-of-towners both. We love the dance,
we love the music, and we are putting on this event so that visitors can see the great city and the great
dance community we've got and so that we can all make some new friends during our short weekend.
